Hermit crabs are wonderful pets. If one person in your family has allergies to most animals like cats or dogs, a hermit crab is just for you!

I have always wanted a pet but my brother and Dad are allergic every thing I wanted. Then one day in the Hartford Current I saw a article about hermit crabs. I begged and begged to get one my Mom and Dad said yes. I went to my local pet store. I found a hermit crab just for me.

Hermit Crabs are reasonably easy to take care of first you make sure the crab has water,alot of water!

My hermit crab is named Giligan. After The TV show Giligans Island. Below is a picture of his cage and him.
